Der Protestsong ist wieder da, vorgetragen vom Dr. Drexler project aus Augsburg, welches sich in Form und Inhalt einem neuen, modernisierten Post-Punk-Sound verschrieben hat. Rhythmen für den Tanzboden. Ein knurrender Bass, kantige Beats, eine nervös schneidende Gitarre und ein grimmiger Gesang zeugen von Unmut. Musik zu ungemütlichen Zeiten.

The protest song is back. The Dr. Drexler project operates from the Southern German town of Augsburg, birthplace of Bertolt Brecht. The collective's sound is modernized post-punk. Rhythms for the dancefloor. Snarling bass, chiselled beats, sharp-edged guitars and gritty lyrics that give voice to angry times.
